A must read👇
Simply too many good wisdom, not to miss.
(01)  人靜時,躺下來仔細想想,人活著真不容易
When you are at ease with yourself, lie down and spare some thought. To live a life is never easy
         明知以後會死,還要努力的活著,人活一輩子到底是為什麼!?
Knowing that we will inevitably die one day, you may ask why are we still striving so hard to live? What is the purpose of our striving so hard to live our life?
複雜的社會,看不透的人心,放不下的牽掛,經歷不完的酸甜苦辣,走不完的坎坷,越不過的無奈,忘不了的昨天,忙不完的今天,想不到的明天,最後不知道會消失在哪一天!這就是人生。
We are living in a very complex society where one can't even predict what others are thinking, and life is full of endless worries, going through endless tribulations that are full of spices of all sorts, encountering endless hurdles in life, at times feeling of hopelessness, and memories of past, and have to endure a busy and taxing today, an unpredictable tomorrow and the irony of not knowing when our lives will come to an end. That is life!
所以再忙再累別忘了心疼自己,一定要記得好好照顧自己!
So remember as busy you are, love yourselves and take good care of yourselves

(02)人生如天氣,可預料,但往往出乎意料!?
Life is just like weather, can make predictions but more often than not, is unpredictable
不管是陽光燦爛,還是聚散無常,一份好心情,是人生唯一不能被剝奪的財富。
Whatever it is, be it a sunny day    or unpredictability of life, to have good attitude and mood everyday is something nobody can denied and deprived you off
把握好每天的生活,照顧好獨一無二的身體,就是最好的珍惜。
得之坦然,失之泰然,隨性而往,隨遇而安,一切隨緣,是最豁達而明智的人生態度。
Be in control of your daily life, take good care of your own health is the most precious thing of all.
Between gains and losses, just accepts it with a good heart without resentment and take it as fateful is the wisest attitude of life

(03)    多好的一段話:
There are many sayings that are full of wisdom
我們都有缺點,所以彼此包容一點.
We all have our shortcomings, so learn to embrace and accept each other's shortcomings
我們都有優點,所以彼此欣賞一點。
We all have our shortcomings in certain aspects and so  be humble and not to be too critical of others shortcomings
我們都有個性,所以彼此謙讓一點。
We all have our individualistic character but must learn how to accommodate one another
我們都有差異,所以彼此接納一點。
We all are different so must learn to accept one another
我們都有傷心,所以彼此安慰一點。
We all have our sad moments in life, so learn to console each other
我們都有快樂,所以彼此分享一點。
We all have our happy moments in life, so learn to share the happiness with one another
因為我們有緣相識,請珍惜生命中的每一位家人、朋友!開心的過好每一天!
Fate brings us together, so learn to treasure every one, be it family members, friends and be happy everyday

(04)    十年後,您把現在的奔馳寶馬給孩子,他們會說太舊了!
If you give your current Mercedes or BMW to your children in 10 years time, they will say the cars are too old
十年後,您把現在的蘋果8S給孩子,他們會說別逗了!
If you give year IPhone 8 to your children in 10 years time, they will say you must be joking
十年後,你躺在病床上抱著一堆存摺,要兒女天天給你把屎端尿,兒女們會說,僱保姆吧!
If In 10 years time when you are unlucky to be bed ridden and holding yr bank deposit books in your hand and ask your children to take care of you, they will ask you to get a maid to take care of you
十年後,你保持了健康的體魄,還能到處旅遊,打拳、跳舞。
您的孩子會說,老爸老媽你們太明智了!
If In 10 years time, you are still healthy and can travel, exercise
and dance, your children will heap praises for you for being a very wise person
●    給孩子最好的禮物是自己的健康!
The best present for your children is to remain healthy at old age
重要的事情,再說一遍,請大家記住最後一句話:
Reiterating the most important thing, please remember it pertinently
●    給孩子最好的禮物是保養好自己的身心健康。
The best present for your children is to remain healthy at old age
●人生就是做好兩件事:
In life, we only need to take care of two things:-
第一,教育好孩子,不要危害社會;
Firstly, educate your children so that they are not a parasite to the society
第二是照顧好自己,別拖累孩子。
Secondly, take care of your own health so that you will not be a burden to your children

(05)    請大家看看,著名的廈門大學教授易中天的一段話,好經典!!
Please take a look at the following classic speech by a professor in XiaMen University
再過若干年,我們都將離去,對這個世界來說,我們徹底變成了虛無。
In no time, we will inevitably come to an end of  our lives and as far as the world is concerned, our physical self will disappear from the universe without traces
●    我們奮鬥一生,帶不走一草一木。我們執著一生,帶不走一分虛榮愛慕。
For all the hard work we put in all our lives and for all the wealth, reputation and accolades that we so treasured in our lives, we will never be able to bring along with us when we depart from this world and our physical self will disappear from the universe without traces
今生,無論貴賤貧富,總有一天都要走到這最後一步。到了天國,驀然回首,我們的這一生,形同虛度!!
In our lives, no matter whether we are rich or poor, we will face the same eventuality, i.e. come to the end of our journey some day. When you look back our lives from the other world, our past lives just like a vacuum in universe, gone without traces
●    所以,從現在起,我們要用心生活,天天開心快樂就好。
So from now onwards, we must  live a purposeful and happy lives
三千繁華,彈指剎那,百年之後,不過一捧黃沙。
In no times when we reach the end of our life journey, all the material aspect of our lives shall disintegrate and turn into a handful of yellow earth

※請善待每個人,因為沒有下輩子。
So we shall treat everyone with kindness as there is no next life to be kind to others

(06)    一輩子真的好短,有多少人說好要過一輩子,可走著走著就剩下了曾經。
Life is short and for the many promises to live a good and purposeful life, we never really get down to do it and before long, it will be too late
又有多少人說好要做一輩子的朋友,可轉身就成為最熟悉的陌生人。有的明明說好明天見,可醒來就是天各一方。
How many of us ever promised ourselves to be a true friends for life and in no times, we became total stranger
所以,趁我們都還活著,戰友、同學、朋友、同事、能相聚就不要錯過,能愛時就認真的愛,能擁抱時就擁入懷,能牽手時就不放開。能玩的時候玩,能吃的時候吃。
So while we are still alive, comrades, old school mates, friends, colleagues, please dun't miss any chance to get together to cherish the love and care, and companionship

(07)    請好好珍惜身邊的人,不要做翻臉比翻書還快的人。
Please treasure all the people that are dearest to you
互相理解才是真正的感情,不要給你的人生留下太多的遺憾。再好的緣份也經不起敷衍,再深的感情也需要珍惜。
Mutual understanding is the essence of real friendship. Please do not live a life full of regrets. Friendship will not last if it is not being treasured
沒有絕對的傻瓜,只有願為你裝傻的人。原諒你的人,是不願失去你。真誠才能永相守,珍惜才配長擁有。
There is no absolute stupid person but pretending to be stupid just for you as friend. Friends who can forgive you just because they treasure the friendship and not wanting to lose you as a friend. It is only because of sincerity and mutual treasuring that you will see a lasting relationship or friendship

(08)    有利時,不要不讓人;有理時,不要不饒人;有能時,不要嘲笑人。
When you are in absolute advantage position, do remember to give others a second chance; when you are have absolute right reasoning, do remember to forgive others; when you have the ability, never look down on others
太精明遭人厭;太挑剔遭人嫌;太驕傲遭人棄。
People who are too smart will be disliked by others; people who are too petty will be despised by others; people who are too arrogant will be dumped by others
●    人在世間走,本是一場空,何必處處計較,步步不讓。
Life itself ultimately is just like vacuum in universe and there is no point to be too petty and calculative.
話多了傷人,恨多了傷神,與其傷人又傷神,不如不煩神。
Mind our language as it will hurt others' feeling. Too much resentment hurts emotionally
一輩子就圖個無愧於心,悠然自在。世間的理爭不完,爭贏了失人心;世上的利賺不盡,差不多就行。財聚人散,財散人聚。
One strives hard to live a life with clear conscience and without much of a guilty feeling.
There is endless arguments as to who is right and who is wrong and too much arguments will not win one's heart
Be contented with your wealth as greed is insatiable.
Friends who are poor always become close buddy and vice versa
(09)    心幸福,日子才輕鬆;人自在,一生才值得!
When your heart is at peace, every day is a happy day.
When you are at peace with yourself, it is a life worth living
●    想的太多,容易煩惱;在乎太多,容易困擾;追求太多,容易累倒。
When you think too much, you will become too worrisome
When you are too particular on thing, you will become troubled emotionally
When you are chasing too much of material wealth, you will be become tiresome emotionally
好好珍惜身邊的人,因為沒有下輩子的相識!好好感受生活的樂,因為轉瞬就即逝!好好體會生命的每一天,因為只有今生,沒有來世。
Treasure the people close to you in life as it is fate that bring you all together as you will not have a second chance
Try your best to live a happy life every single day as before you realize it, we have reached the end of our journey
Try you best to experience the everyday life as we only have the current life, there will not be a second life
這是一篇難得的絕世好文!

Beautiful 10 lines

SOMEONE HAS WRITTEN THESE 10 BEAUTIFUL LINES. READ and TRY  to UNDERSTAND the DEEPER MEANING of THEM.

1). PRAYER is not a "spare wheel" that YOU PULL OUT when IN trouble, but it is a "STEERING WHEEL" that DIRECT the RIGHT PATH THROUGHOUT LIFE.

2). Why is a CAR'S WINDSHIELD so LARGE & the REAR VIEW MIRROR so small? BECAUSE our PAST is NOT as IMPORTANT as OUR FUTURE. So, LOOK AHEAD and MOVE ON.

3). FRIENDSHIP is like a BOOK. It takes a FEW SECONDS to BURN, but it TAKES YEARS to WRITE.

4). All THINGS in LIFE are TEMPORARY. If they are GOING WELL, ENJOY them, they WILL NOT LAST FOREVER. If they are going wrong, don't WORRY, THEY CAN'T LAST LONG EITHER.

5). Old FRIENDS are GOLD! NEW friends are DIAMONDS! If you GET a DIAMOND, DON'T FORGET the GOLD! To HOLD a DIAMOND, you ALWAYS NEED a BASE of GOLD!

6). Often when WE LOSE HOPE and THINK this is the END, GOD SMILES from ABOVE and SAYS, "RELAX, SWEETHEART; it's JUST a BEND, NOT THE END!"

7). When GOD SOLVES your PROBLEMS, you HAVE FAITH in HIS ABILITIES; when GOD DOESN'T SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS, HE has FAITH in YOUR ABILITIES.

8). A BLIND PERSON asked GOD: "CAN THERE be ANYTHING WORSE THAN LOSING EYE SIGHT?" HE REPLIED: "YES, LOSING YOUR VISION!"

9). When   YOU PRAY for OTHERS, GOD LISTENS to YOU and BLESSES THEM, and SOMETIMES, when you are SAFE and HAPPY, REMEMBER that SOMEONE has PRAYED for YOU.

10). WORRYING does NOT TAKE AWAY TOMORROW'S TROUBLES; IT TAKES AWAY today's PEACE.

chen lang

Li Ka-shing Feng Shui master Chen Lang's last words before his passing to unveil the real secret of wealth!
Hello, everyone. Today we share with you Mr. Chen Lang's last rites. It will be very rewarding.

When Li Ka-shing was 30, he started some small businesses in Hong Kong. One day he met Chen Lang, Chen Lang read his future/fortune. Then Chen joked and asked “How much wealth do you wish and be satisfied with in the future?” Li Ka-shing told him “I would be satisfied with 30 million.” Chen Lang told him that the treasure trove of his life is not flat, but overflowed. He will surely be the richest man in Hong Kong!
Besides that, many renowned figures in Hong Kong have consulted Chen Long to read their fortune include Lee Shau Kee, Cheng Yu-tung, Carina Lau, Cheung Siu-wai, Yeung Shu-shing, Yung Cho-erh, Nicholas Tse, Lai Chi-chi and Lo Leung-wai. In addition, there is the King of Thailand, former Indonesian President Suharto.
Many years ago, Chen met a young man at dinner and told an entertainment business owner, Yang Shoucheng, that this young man will be very popular and advised Yang to engage the young man. Later, this young man joined and he is the famous Nicholas Tse.
Chen Lang died in a nursing hospice on 29 January 2007 at the age of 78. During Chen Lang's final days, it is clear that many rich and famous respect the "Imperial Feng Shui Master".

Before his death, the tycoons visited him in the hospice several times in private, he explained why he helped these people to get rich and the secret to wealth.
The following is what Chen said during his final days at the hospice:
1. Chen Lang:
Why did I help you? Because you can help more people.

2. Chen Lang:
In fact, people gain wealth is not due to the blessings of this lifetime only. You have been blessed with many lifetimes of good deeds, filial piety, respect for your teachers, and being generous to all living beings. Only then you may be blessed (wealth and position).

3. Chen Lang:
Nowadays, often enough people are oblivious and take the wrong path, trying to make money by dirty tactics because they don't know that these things are just karma. Truth is, you will need to gain good karma from continuous good deeds, or else, I won’t be able to help you.

4. Chen Lang:
Why do I have to suffer now (in Hong Kong, I've had three operations and in a lot of pain). Though it’s out of good will, I helped you to change your destiny and facilitate early success in your life so you can help others, this is after all contrary to God’s will. Thus, I am punished by God, God has his own reason.

5. Chen Lang:
To be successful, one has to have good karma. The Chinese say that "amity makes wealth" is the wisdom accumulated over thousands of years, you have to be sincere and pleasant to everyone. From there, these people will help you succeed. Never be arrogant as arrogance will ruin your good karma.

6. Chen Lang:
You have to take the right path in business, being successful will happen sooner or later. Do not be too anxious. Being direct and honest is good quality to have in business. Set a good example to be others role model. Do not go astray, otherwise your blessing will be quickly ruined.
7. Chen Lang:
The world is now full of evilness, people will do anything to gain fame, status and wealth. The problem lies in the absence of religion, self respect , ethics, morale, justice etc. If we want to keep our wealth for more generations to come, it is important to be spiritual and learn these good quality from the teaching

8. Chen Lang:
You (the rich and famous) have a lot of influence. Build good schools, train good teachers, and practice all these good qualities in life. Once the country is stable, everyone will be good. This is the greatest blessing in this world and the greatest seed anyone can do to the nation. Whoever does it will benefit himself, and he will be rich and powerful for many generations.
When you have finished reading this article, you have two options:
1. You can spread the word, spread some positive information and love.
2. You may choose to ignore

Can electricity enter our body through the flash of a  digital camera?
Yes 100% it can happen.
This is a true incident, which happened with a 21 year old boy studying engineering.
He died in Keshwani Hospital. He was admitted in the hospital in burnt conditions.
The reason:: He went to Amrawati on a study tour.  While coming back, he was waiting for train at railway station along with his friends.
Many of them were taking group photo in their mobiles with digital cameras.
This boy was also there and trying to take group photo. From where he was standing, he couldn't  cover the group. So he went a little back.
The place where he was standing, an electric wire with 40,000 volt was running  atop.
As soon as he pressed the button of digital camera, the electricity of 40,000 volt
entered the camera through the flash, then the fingers and then the whole body.
All this happened in a few seconds. 50% of his body was burnt. In that condition he was brought to Keshwani Hospital, and then to Mumbai in an ambulance.
He was unconscious for 1 and 1/2 days. As his body was 50% burnt, doctors were having less hope for him. Later on he died.
This can happen to anyone as we all use mobile. Are we learned and responsible ?
# Avoid using mobiles at petrol pumps.
# Avoid using mobiles when u r driving.
# When mobile is charging don't receive call.
# 1st remove the charger pin and then receive the call.
# pls don't use mobile/digital camera-flash at railway stations or any other place, where there is a High Voltage electricity transmission wire.
This is for your safety.
After reading pls share it.
Because of this some ones life can be saved.
Very imporant msg for all

condom

Peter goes into a pharmacy and says to the pharmacist
"Hello, could you give me condom? I'm going to my girlfriend's place for dinner and I think I may be in with a chance!"
The pharmacist gives him the condom and as Peter was going out he returns and says,"Give me another condom because my girlfriend's sister is very cute too. She always crosses her legs in a provocative manner when she sees me and I think I might strike a luck there too."
The pharmacist gives him a second condom and as Peter was leaving again he turns back and says "Give me one more condom because my girlfriend's mum is still pretty cute and when she sees me she always makes eye contact and since she invited me for dinner I think she is expecting me to make a move.
During dinner, Peter sat with his girlfriend on the left, the sister on his right and the mum facing him. When the Dad walks in, Peter lowers his head and starts the dinner prayer."Dear Lord, bless this dinner and thank you for all u've given us".
Ten minutes after, peter was still praying "Thank you Lord for your kindness. ...."
Ten minutes go by, and Peter is still praying, keeping his head down, very close to the table. They all looked at each other surprised, and his girlfriend was even more surprised than others. She gets close to him and whispered, "I didn't know you were so religious. "Peter with his head still on the table replies, "I never knew your dad was the pharmacist!"
Now dont just laugh....
pass it on..... Iyoyo.

wisdom on sex

1. Kamasutra says : If you suck one nipple, the women herself offers the other one. And that was the origin of "buy one get one free"!
2. Did you ever notice: everything on a woman's upper body starts with a "B". Blouse, Bra, Bikini, Boobs and lower body with a "P" Peticoat, panties, pussy... That's origin of "BP"!
3. Before sex, you help each other get naked. After sex, you dress only yourself. Moral: In life no one helps you once you're fucked.
4. Success is like pregnancy. Everybody congratulates you but nobody knows how many times you got fucked to achieve it.
5. What is the difference between frustration and satisfaction? What the Fuck! and What a Fuck!
6. 3 people having sex is a threesome, 2 is a twosome. So next time someone calls you 'HANDSOME', don't take it as a compliment!
7. Life is like a dick, sometimes it becomes hard for no reason.
8. Practical thought: A husband is supposed to make his wife's panties wet, not her eyes. A wife is supposed to make her husband's dick hard, not his life..!
9. When a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch her stomach and say "Congrats!". But none of them come and touch the man's Penis and say "Well done!".
Moral: Hard work is never appreciated: Only result matters.
Dont delete it unless forward it to a grp of naughty Friends😉

woman

This is one of the best posts I've read about woman... Please read it completely... it's worth it...
WOMAN. . . . . . . . .
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......
An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?"
The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?"
●She must function on all kinds of situations.
●She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time.
●Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart.
●She must do all this with only two hands.
●She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day.
THE ANGEL was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible!
And this is the standard model?"
The Angel came closer and touched the woman.
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome"
"Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate".
The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her".
"She is not leaking...it is a tear". The Lord corrected the Angel…
"What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...
This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"
Lord said ."Indeed she is.
■She has strength that amazes a man.
■She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
■She holds happiness, love and opinions.
■She smiles when she feels like screaming.
■She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
■She fights for what she believes in.
■Her love is unconditional.
■Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"
The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback.
"She often forgets what she is worth".
Send it to all the women u respect ....👍
And to all men who respect woman 👍👍
Being a woman is priceless
Pass this to every woman in your contact to make her feel proud of herself.
I respect women

parachute thief

Once in a far away land..
There was a plane, flying in it was an Indian Markel, a Malay Makchik, a Chinese Ah pek, a Eurasian schoolboy, the Pilot and a Corrupt Politician.. 6 ppl in total.
(Dont ask me why this is so..)
Somewhere over an Island called Pura-Pura,
the plane lost both its engine and was gliding into a an imminent disaster.
To everyones dismay, there was only 5 parachutes on board, and somebody was gonna have to die..
The Indian Markel said, u guys take the parachutes.. I lost faith in my government already. No equality at all, "regardless of race, language or religion".. pundek, we cant even carry our Kavadi and enjoy our procession in peace! Let me die!
The Malay Makchik said, No! Let me die, macham sial, I try to sell kueh to family and friends during Ramaddan to make ends meet and my government raided my house, took all my kueh and fined me more money then I cud ever make selling Kueh raya! Bagi aku mati!
Then the Chinese Ah pek said, buay hiaou kin, I am 75yrs old, and still cleaning tables at McDonalds and my foreign talent Manager, who used to be a domestic worker, bullies me everyday! Kanina! I want to die!
The politician after hearing all this, stepped up, looked at the parachutes, grabbed one, and said, I have stolen and embezzled from u for years and made life unbearable for u mediocre ppl who earn less then 500k a year and u guys still vote for me because u are weak sheep!
You idiots deserve to die. He wore the chute and jumped out of the plane, smiling whilst humming the tune Stand Up for Pura-Pura...
Everyones jaw literally dropped..
The Pilot then said.. calm down everyone, u guys take the rest of the parachutes.. u have suffered enough at the hands of tyranny and blatant corruption.. go home to ur family and do the right thing in the next elections..
I will go down with the plane..
Everyone smiled and said thank u to him except for the Eurasian schoolboy who finally spoke...
Dude, dont be so drama man..
We all take a parachute and head on down safely ya!
The pilot then told him, "Im sorry son, there were 6 of us but I only packed 5 parachutes, and that fuckin' thief has already taken 1.."
The Schoolboy replied,...
"The stupid Pinky took my schoolbag instead of the parachute lah bro!"
And the citizens of Pura-Pura lived happily ever after!!
Moral of the story
A cunning thief will eventually outsmart his own self.... kwang kwang kwang...

You Are the Root of Your Success
The first principle you can and should learn from Eker is that you are the root of your own success. In order to be successful, you must be successful. According to Eker, everything you have around you is the result, and you are the cause. Meaning to say that if you want a different result, the root must first change, which is to say that you first change.
A lot of people thought that all they need to do in order to get rich is to come up with an idea to make millions, and they will be rich. No, this is not how it works. If you did not develop the financial wealth files in your head, whatever you do, you will never make money from it. Once you have developed the right financial blueprint in your mind, everything you touch will turn into a success.
Therefore, you must understand that you are the cause of everything you get in your life right now. If you are living in poverty, your health is in a bad shape or you fail in your relationship, stop looking around, instead, look into yourself. You have been conditioned to fail. And the only way to change it is to change your mindset. And this is what Eker taught in his book.
Success will come to you automatically when you adopt the right financial blueprint in your head. Your inner world creates your outer world. Most people get it wrong by thinking that all they need is an idea, or a workable business, or a great team, or the capital to initiate their business, but the truth is that nothing will change until you do.
If you stay the same and still using the same lousy mentality in your mind, you will never produce an outstanding result even if you have the capital, the idea, or the team. You are the root of your success. And it starts with you.

be uncomfortable

 2. Be Willing to be Uncomfortable
Harv Eker says that comfort is the kiss of death for all successes. The majority of people are not successful because they are not willing to venture out of their comfort zone. People choose to stay comfortable when it comes to reality. People prefer to stay in their comfortable bed when it is time for them to wake up and work on their dreams. They desire for a slim body, but they refuse to do the uncomfortable, which is to wake up and exercise.
You have to be willing to deal with the uncomfortable if you desire success. You are where you are right now because all the things you do right now are comfortable and they are not getting you anywhere. And if you continue to do it, you will just stay the same. If you want a different result, you must do things differently. Albert Einstein once defined the word insanity as “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” So don’t be insane. If you want something different, do it differently. A lot of people try to break their bad habits and adopt the productive ones, but most of them will fail. A great suggestion from Eker if you want to build a productive habit is to do it slowly, adopt just one new habit at a time.
When you try to adopt new habits all at the same time, you will fail because your mind cannot take it and the change is too drastic. You will uncomfortable and fall back into your usual state. So change just one habit at a time.

mental hospital

In a "Mental Hospital" of 38 patient's, a journalist asks the Doctor: How do you determine whether to admit a mental patient or not to?
Dr: "Well, we fill a bathtub with water and then give the patient;
(a). a  teaspoon,
(b). a glass,
(c). a bucket,
and ask them to empty the bathtub."
Journalist: "Oh, obviously a normal person would use the bucket because its bigger."
Dr: "No, a normal person would pull the drain plug! Please go to bed No.39. We will start further investigations on you!"
........................................
😀😀 You also thought of the bucket, didn't you? Please go to bed No. 40 ! 😝
Forward quickly... There are still some beds available !!

croatian president Kolinda

The Croatian president Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic has created a storm by her beauty and selfless support of her national team. But do we know what lies beneath her beauty? Born on 29 April 1968, she is a graduate in  English and Spanish literature. She has done post-graduation in international relations. She is a Fulbright scholar, who studied at George Washington university, Harvard and John Hopkins university. At the age of 46, in the year 2015, she became president and started pursuing her doctorate in international relations. Don't get waylaid by her beauty because she is an ex army commando and an ace marksman too. From 2007 to 2011 she was the ambassador of Croatia to US. Then she became the first woman to be the NATO assistant secretary general for public diplomacy. In that capacity she visited Afghanistan number of times to raise the morale of NATO troops deployed there. In the NATO circle she is known as SWAMBO. That is she who must be obeyed. Known as a no nonsense woman, she instilled discipline and dedication, leading by her own example. She has been voluminously praised by both George Bush Jr and Barack Obama. She bought her own economy class ticket and came to Russia to see Croatia playing. She put on Croatian Jersey and sat at the VIP box breaking all norms. She mingled with spectators and hugged the players, who were sweating and in briefs in the dressing room. She fluently speaks Croatian, English, Spanish and Danish language. Moreover, she is fairly adept in speaking in German, French, Russian and Italian. She was seen speaking to both Putin and Macron fluently in Russian and French respectively. Therefore, she is epitome what a nation's leader should be, brilliant, savvy and inspiring. Alas, we as a country will perhaps never see such a leader

world economy

Very Interesting article written by an Indian Economist about world economy.
Amazing logic indeed. This is a crazy world! How valid is it? I leave it to you!
The Japanese save a lot. They do not spend much. Also, Japan exports far more than it imports. Has an annual trade surplus of over US$100 billion. Yet the Japanese economy is considered weak, even collapsing.
Americans spend, save little. Also US imports more than it exports.
Has an annual trade deficit of over $400 billion. Yet, the American economy is considered strong and expected to get stronger.
But where do Americans get money to spend? They borrow from Japan, China and even India.
Virtually others save for the Americans to spend. Global savings are mostly invested in US, in dollars.
India itself keeps its foreign currency assets of over $50 billion in US securities. China has sunk over $1.1 trillion in US securities.
Japan's stakes in US securities is in trillions.
Result:
The US has taken over $5 trillion from the world. So, as the world
saves for the US - It's The Americans who are spending freely. Today, to keep the US consumption going, that is for the US economy to work, other countries have to remit $180 billion every quarter, which is $2
billion a day, to the US!
A Chinese economist asked a neat question. Who has invested more, US in China, or China in US? The US has invested in China less than half of what China has invested in the US.
The same is the case with India. It have invested over $50 billion in the US. But the US has invested less than $20 billion in India.
Why is the world after US?
The secret lies in American spending, that they hardly save. In fact they use their credit cards to spend their future income. That the US spends is what makes it attractive to export to the US. So US imports more than what it exports year after year.
The result:
The world is dependent on US consumption for its growth. By its deepening culture of consumption, the US has habituated the world to feed on US consumption. But as the US needs money to finance its consumption, the world provides the money.
It's like a shopkeeper providing the money to a customer so that the customer keeps buying from the shop. If the customer will not buy, the shop won't have business, unless the shopkeeper funds him. The US is like the lucky customer. And the world is like the helpless shopkeeper financier.
Who is America's biggest shopkeeper financier? Japan and China of course. Yet Japan is regarded as weak economically. Modern economists complain that Japanese do not spend, so they do not grow. To force the Japanese to spend, the Japanese government exerted itself, reduced the savings interest rates to almost zero, even charged savers for keeping their money in the bank. Still the Japanese did not spend (habits don't change, even with taxes, do they?). Their traditional postal savings alone has over $1.2 trillion. Thus, savings, far from being the strength of Japan, has become its pain.
Hence, what is the lesson?
That is, a nation cannot grow unless the people spend, not save. Not just spend, but borrow and spend.
Dr. Jagdish Bhagwati, the famous Indian-born economist in the US, told Manmohan Singh that Indians wastefully save. Ask them to spend, on imported cars and, seriously, even on cosmetics! This will put India on a growth curve. This is one of the reason for MNC's coming down to India, seeing the consumer spending.
'Saving is sin, and spending is virtue.'
But before you follow this Neo Economics, get some fools to save so that you can borrow from them and spend !!!
The world is in a economical mess!!!

computers

Love this.
😂 A SPANISH Teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.
"House" for instance, is feminine: "la casa."
"Pencil," however, is masculine: "el lapiz."
A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?"
Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether "computer" should be a masculine or a feminine noun.
Each group was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.
The men's group decided that "computer" should definitely be of the feminine gender ("la computadora"), because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;😂😂
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;😂😂
3. Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for possible later retrieval;
😂😂😂
 and
 4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your pay check on accessories for it.
😂😂😂
(THIS GETS BETTER!)
The women's group, however, concluded that computers should be Masculine ("el computador"), because:
1. In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on😂
2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;😂
3. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE  the problem;😂
and
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited a little longer, you could have gotten a better model
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The women won😂
Send this to all the smart women you know...and all the men that have a good sense of humour!

Quattro

5 Germans in an Audi Quattro arrive at the Italian Border.
The Italian Customs Officer stops them and tells them, “It's a illegala to putta 5 People in a Quattro."
"Vot do you mean it's illegal?", asks the German driver.
"Quattro meansa four", replies the Italian Official.
"Quattro is just ze name of ze Automobile...” , the German says.
"Look at ze dam papers: ze car is designed to karry 5 Persons".
"You canta pulla thata one on me!!", replies the Italian Customs Officer. "Quattro meansa four. You have five-a people ina your car & you are therefore breaking the Law."

Singapore engineers

Two  engineering students were standing at the base of a flagpole, looking up.
A woman walked by and asked what they were doing....?👩‍🎤👩‍🎤
"We're supposed to find the height of the flagpole", said one, "But we don't have a ladder."
💁🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂
The woman said, "Hand me that wrench out of your toolbox."
•••She loosened a few bolts, then laid the pole down. She then took the measuring tape from their toolbox, took the measurement and announced, "Eighteen feet, six inches" and walked away.🤷‍♀
The second engineer shook his head and laughed and said, "We needed the height and she gave us the length!"
Both the engineers are still working for the Singapore Government. 😂

cigar case

This is a masterpiece
This Can Happen Only In USA  ?
-----------
This actually took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then  insured them against, among other things, loss due to fire.
Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great   cigars, the lawyer filed a claim against the insurance company.
In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost 'in a series of   small fires.'
The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that   the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.
The lawyer sued and WON!  (Stay with me.)
Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that   the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer  held a policy from the company, in which it had warranted that the  cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to be unacceptable  'fire' and was obligated to pay the claim.
Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss  of the cigars that perished in the 'fires'.
NOW FOR THE BEST PART...
After the lawyer cashed the cheque, the insurance company had him  arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!!
With his own insurance claim and  testimony from the previous case being used against him, the lawyer was  convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was  sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.
This true story won First Place in last year's Criminal Lawyers Award  contest in USA.

something wrong with the ear

There is nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients.
I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this guy handled it.
A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk.
The Receptionist said, 'Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?'
'There's something wrong with my dick', he replied.
The receptionist became irritated and said, 'You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that. '
'Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,' he said.
The Receptionist replied; 'Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.'
The man replied, 'You shouldn't ask people questions in a roomful of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered.
The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes??'
'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated.
The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice.. 'And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?'
'I can't piss out of it,' he replied.
The waiting room erupted in laughter...
Mess with seniors, and you're going to lose....(yep, sure are) 😉

Richard Branson

This post from Richard Branson.
Take a moment to read this before you start the week .
You'll be happy you did 👍 👇👇
"Dear Stranger,
You don’t know me but I hear you are going through a tough time, and I would like to help you. I want to be open and honest with you, and let you know that happiness isn’t something just afforded to a special few. It can be yours, if you take the time to let it grow.
It’s OK to be stressed, scared and sad, I certainly have been throughout my 66 years. I’ve confronted my biggest fears time and time again. I’ve cheated death on many adventures, seen loved ones pass away, failed in business, minced my words in front of tough audiences, and had my heart broken.
I know I’m fortunate to live an extraordinary life, and that most people would assume my business success, and the wealth that comes with it, have brought me happiness. But they haven’t; in fact it’s the reverse. I am successful, wealthy and connected because I am happy.
So many people get caught up in doing what they think will make them happy but, in my opinion, this is where they fail. Happiness is not about doing, it’s about being. In order to be happy, you need to think consciously about it. Don’t forget the to-do list, but remember to write a to-be list too.
Kids are often asked: ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ The world expects grandiose aspirations: ‘I want to be a writer, a doctor, the prime minister.’ They’re told: go to school, go to college, get a job, get married, and then you’ll be happy. But that’s all about doing, not being – and while doing will bring you moments of joy, it won’t necessarily reward you with lasting happiness.
Stop and breathe. Be healthy. Be around your friends and family. Be there for someone, and let someone be there for you. Be bold. Just be for a minute.
If you allow yourself to be in the moment, and appreciate the moment, happiness will follow. I speak from experience. We’ve built a business empire, joined conversations about the future of our planet, attended many memorable parties and met many unforgettable people. And while these things have brought me great joy, it’s the moments that I stopped just to be, rather than do, that have given me true happiness. Why? Because allowing yourself just to be, puts things into perspective. Try it. Be still. Be present.
For me, it’s watching the flamingos fly across Necker Island at dusk. It’s holding my new grandchild's tiny hands. It’s looking up at the stars and dreaming of seeing them up close one day. It’s listening to my family’s dinner-time debates. It’s the smile on a stranger’s face, the smell of rain, the ripple of a wave, the wind across the sand. It’s the first snow fall of winter, and the last storm of summer. It’s sunrise and sunset.
There’s a reason we’re called human beings and not human doings. As human beings we have the ability to think, move and communicate in a heightened way. We can cooperate, understand, reconcile and love, that’s what sets us apart from most other species.
Don’t waste your human talents by stressing about nominal things, or that which you cannot change. If you take the time simply to be and appreciate the fruits of life, your stresses will begin to dissolve, and you will be happier.
But don’t just seek happiness when you’re down. Happiness shouldn’t be a goal, it should be a habit. Take the focus off doing, and start being every day. Be loving, be grateful, be helpful, and be a spectator to your own thoughts.
Allow yourself to be in the moment, and appreciate the moment. Take the focus off everything you think you need to do, and start being – I promise you, happiness will follow.
Happy regards,
Richard Branson"

Bedok

Last week, an NTUC taxi driver picked up a Japanese lady at Changi airport. To his surprise, the lady requested, "We go to bed ok!"
Thinking that she may want to rest at a hotel, the cab driver suggested a few nearby hotels.
"No. No hotel. We go to bed ok!"
The taxi driver was horrified at the suggestive request but being a professional, tried to decline in the most indirect way. But the passenger refused to take "No" for an answer.
Finally the taxi driver couldn't take it anymore and warned her either to furnish a proper address or take another cab.
Exasperated, the passenger reached into her pocket and whipped out a map of Singapore.
"Bed ok! Bed ok!" she shouted, pointing to the spot on the map labelled Bedok"
 😝
Just for laugh ! Have a great week end & good luck guys ! Be happy ! Closed more deals !

you are monsters

ORD letter: “You are not leaders. You are monsters”

Below is the letter by a National Serviceman who recently ORDed* after serving two years of national service. According to him, he wrote an email which was sent out via intranet but MINDEF made a call to his office within minutes to have the email recalled.
He wrote, "Personally, I just want to get the words of my letter out to as many people as possible so that they may read it and form their own ideas of the military after seeing a different side to its organisation. The speed with which MINDEF has attempted to clamp down to me, I think, is testament to the kind of unbridled power that they have access to, which should not be left unchecked and unknown to the public. I hope you can publish this email on your website as I do not know when I will next have access to the internet."
The NSF was also told by his friends to expect to be charged.
The Online Citizen wrote to MINDEF on 11 July, asking if they could confirm whether or not such a letter was retracted, but no response has been issued so far.
*Operationally Ready Date, refers to the date on which a National Serviceman completes his 2-year term of service.
Below is the letter in full

Dear Sirs, Mdms and all,
Today, I will leave the SAF after two years of service. My NS journey, though unexpected, has been full of pleasant surprises. I have made many good friends whom I will continue to treasure outside of the army. I have grown so much as a person, and acquired new skills in working with others and in organisations. I started in Pes C BMT in Tekong, and later vocationalised in Sembawang camp. Finally, I was posted to 2 PDF Command, G1 Branch as a clerk. The insights I have gained through my experiences have been pivotal in helping me decide what I want to do with my life after secondary school and JC. The journey has not been easy at times, but I grew stronger with the difficulties and struggles. The people who understood me and empathised with me were so important in helping me get through the difficult days. I must give special thanks to the people at SAF Counselling Centre for their support and guidance throughout this turbulent time.
With that said, I have now reached the end of my journey. I found myself looking back at the beginning, when I was a pre-enlistee - uncertain, fearful, anxious, dreading enlistment. In my mind what I was about to experience was a blank. I had no idea how it would affect me. One question did nag at me, as I’m sure it nagged at others - why serve NS?
Countless times, many superiors and comrades have told me, “you have to serve NS. Nobody can change that. What we can do is to make the best of your two years here.” So I did, I took my time here on day at a time and looked at the bright side. That does not, however, excuse the sin of a massive institution that systematically degrades hundreds of thousands of men by depriving them of their basic human rights. “You have to serve NS. Nobody can change that.
With that one statement, every person in the SAF, no matter how big or small, somehow managed to absolve themselves of the responsibility of the suffering that they have caused. This military, the epicentre of the government, and a microcosm of everything wrong with Singapore. In the past fifty years the military has churned ceaselessly to provide every cause for its continued relevance. It has worked desperately to cover up the fallacious logic woven into its rotten core, that compulsory conscription is institutionalised slavery.
I was charged last year, during a routine security check. A pornographic video was found on my phone, which I did not take, and which was accidentally downloaded onto my phone. All my life I had been terrified of having to serve in the army. As a child in primary school, my imagination conjured up nightmares of being barked at, punished and regimented because of small, inconsequential mistakes that were largely outside of my control. I dreaded the day. I was terrified of being publicly shamed, to have the world laughing at me like I was a freak or a loser.
Marched into an office. Having my name printed and published for everybody to gawk at. I did everything within my power to play by the rules, to not get into trouble. And still, I stumbled and was caught. I wanted to kill myself. The night after I knew that I would be summary trialed, I googled how many anarex does it take to put you to sleep forever. I imagined what my cracked skull and smashed brains would look like on the carpark ground, twenty-five storeys down from my HDB unit. I made it through, but just barely. I was shaken to my core, but I recovered.
And then came the question. Who in this world wields the authority and power to put a human being through this suffering?
Is this war, or anarchy, where there are no laws and people hurt each other to survive? No. This is institutionalised suffering and violence. And I was far from the first victim. There are thousands of people in this organisation, adorned in glittering ranks and titles, formulating and executing policies. Your reports and statistics, your conferences and closed-door meetings. If this were a well-oiled, smooth-running organisation, such a philosophy would still be excusable. It’s not. Thousands of servicemen are systematically put through the paces of this system and made to suffer unnecessarily. Your byzantine, hierarchical bureaucracy is not designed to solve problems anymore. It’s designed to entrench them. More and more, inexcusable failures stemming from processes gone awry are being covered up with showy gestures and speeches. The reputation of the military is what is being protected, not my brothers, not our men. Military classification and security is just a blank cheque that gives your people blanket freedoms to sink to levels of mediocrity without being scrutinised.
Many of these inconvenient facts are deflected and concealed by a bloated middle management. The people you employ to do your grunt work are invested in career advancement, not organisational advancement. They choose money, stability and stagnation over natural evolution and change. Keeping your head down and burying problems where convenient is woven into this system’s DNA, and nobody is spared. Not the bottom-feeders, who are not powerful enough to have their voices heard, not the middle-ranks, who are too concerned with infighting and promotional criteria. And certainly not your exalted, overprotected elites. The scholars.
When I enlisted in 2016, I was a promising government scholar myself. I was supposed to be fully-funded in my studies in a top-ranking university in the United States, and come back to enjoy a fast-tracked career in a government statutory board. I bought into this dream of power and change. I believed in talented, passionate individuals working together for the betterment of society. I was so eager to believe that I was willing to turn a blind eye to the natural flaws in an imperfect system. So already, the seeds were there, of elitism, entitlement, apathy. Your elites, your revolutionary change-makers, are incentivised to look for problems which can be solved, within their purview, while still hauling in their five, six-figure salaries. But to overhaul the systemic, cultural flaws of an entire organisation? An individual in a system like this is a pebble in a churning river. There is a splash, but still the water flows the same way. Who dares put their livelihoods at stake for an intangible dream?
I got so disgusted with the hypocrisy and mediocrity of the civil service that I withdrew from the scholarship. I paid every cent of the $1000 liquidation fee with my own hard-earned “allowance”, by the way. I learn this – when you have money, career, prestige, you have something to lose. Something that can be taken away. That makes you valuable, tangles you in strings. This is the twisted symbiotic relationship that maintains the balance of this system: bottom-feeders are suppressed and silenced by the middle-ranks, who are eager to please their elites. Elites who become convinced, incredibly, that they are amazing leaders, miracle workers. So they leave the military, go and become CEO of SMRT and earn even more money for letting trains break down. Trains that they don’t have to ride because they ride cars. Trains that we have to ride, every day. Soak it in, this is your glorified chain of command.
This system is designed to actively resist change and fear risk. And why, you ask, should I care? You want to run your organisation like shit, fine, that’s your business. But there is a cost to running your system this way, and that is us, the people who have to ride the trains every day. The bottom of the food chain. Treated with favouritism, institutional racism, deliberate or accidental oversight, red tape. Systemic racism against Malays in the special forces, in the airforce and navy. Suicides and death details that are covered up and hush-hushed. Preferential treatment among your white horses. Every act that you practice is hypocrisy. Every apologist explanation offered is threaded with a contradictory logic that shouldn’t work. Yet here we are, intimidated with punishment, fed false promises, misled by propaganda and wayang, arbitrarily carved up into the leaders and the followers. All your organisational mediocrity becomes offloaded on us, like rivers polluted by industrial chemical runoff. Your men, purged and expended for your visions of greatness.
Is this your leadership? It reads like cowardice. All this arrogance, paranoia, manipulation and deception. This is the real reason why the military is Singapore’s little factory of elites. You take us for puppets to play with, make jokes out of our lives, strip us of our identities. You forget that NSFs have minds. That every moment of every day we are here, watching your dysfunctions and failures. You say, NS is about defending your nation, defending your family and friends. Yet history tells us that the concept of a nation is artificially construed.
Some European colonisers came ashore centuries ago and started labelling our forefathers yellow skin, brown skin. Started carving up our land into rigid, territorial borders, as if they had a right. So now we defend a concept created by dead white tyrants? This is just another excuse for neo-colonialism. This is why Stamford Raffles stands whitewashed by the Singapore river still. Different skin colour, same problems. You want me to defend a country that abuses its institutional machinery to utterly destroy its dissidents and critics? I would rather grovel at the feet of a foreign power.
Here is what I feel. I will defend what I love. I will defend my principles and ideals. I will fight for truth, for equality, for humility and empathy. I see these same ideals being trampled by your great machines. Your national service teaches men how to hold rifles before they can hold pens in voting booths. It indulges men’s toxic ideas of masculinity, equipping them with guns and bombs, teaching them to unite against some vague external threat. This steady crawl towards paranoia is corrosive and divisive. This bleaching of minds, this mass manufactured groupthink among your soldiers, your countrymen, is a prelude to disaster. If you really succeed in what you do, you will have a horde of fascist, Nazi-esque patriots who will run this country into the dirt. I have no love for this country. Everything I believed in wholeheartedly, it destroyed. I was helpless to do anything. The second I get my chance I’m rescinding my Singapore citizenship.
Maybe my opinion is too extreme, maybe it can be compromised. But it’s not as if you let us speak our minds like that. There is no opportunity for us to have the freedom of voice, the basic dignity of being heard. NS is supposed to be about fighting for our freedom, but instead we are building the bars of our cells. My friends fear for me. They say if I send this email, I will be intimidated, reprimanded, charged and imprisoned. Just for wanting to be listened to. You did this to them. You. You think freedom is something you can just give and take on a whim, without any respect for human beings. Do you think you are gods? You are not gods. You are not leaders. You are monsters.

eat grass

A highly successful MD of a big organisation was going home in his car when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass.
Disturbed by the sight, he ordered his driver to stop and got out to investigate.

He asked one man-
"Why are you eating grass?"

"We don't have any money for food," the poor man replied.
"We have to eat grass."

"Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you" the MD said.

"But sir, I have a wife and two  children with me. They are over there, under that tree".

"Bring them along," the MD replied.

Turning to the other poor man he stated,
"You come with us also."

The second man, in a pitiful voice then said,
"But sir, I also have a wife and three children with me!"

"Bring them all, as well," the MD answered.

They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as it was.

One of the poor fellows turned to the MD and said,
"Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."

The MD replied,
"Glad to do it. You'll really love my place; the grass is almost 1 meter high...!"
Lesson :
Never trust Higher Management.
They will go to any extreme to finish their job.

Scott Morrison - new PM Australia - prayers

Australia New PM
Here’s an excerpt from the maiden speech of Scott Morrison, the new PM of Australia:*
Growing up in a Christian home, I made a commitment to my faith at an early age and have been greatly assisted by the pastoral work of many dedicated church leaders, in particular the Reverend Ray Green and pastors Brian Houston and Leigh Coleman. My personal faith in Jesus Christ is not a political agenda. As Lincoln said, our task is not to claim whether God is on our side but to pray earnestly that we are on His.
For me, faith is personal, but the implications are social—as personal and social responsibility are at the heart of the Christian message. In recent times it has become fashionable to negatively stereotype those who profess their Christian faith in public life as ‘extreme’ and to suggest that such faith has no place in the political debate of this country. This presents a significant challenge for those of us, like my colleague, who seek to follow the example of William Wilberforce or Desmond Tutu, to name just two. These leaders stood for the immutable truths and principles of the Christian faith. They transformed their nations and, indeed, the world in the process. More importantly, by following the convictions of their faith, they established and reinforced the principles of our liberal democracy upon which our own nation is built.
Australia is not a secular country—it is a free country. This is a nation where you have the freedom to follow any belief system you choose. Secularism is just one. It has no greater claim than any other on our society. As US Senator Joe Lieberman said, the Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, not from religion. I believe the same is true in this country.
So what values do I derive from my faith? My answer comes from Jeremiah, chapter 9:24:
... I am the Lord who exercises loving-kindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things, declares the Lord.
From my faith I derive the values of loving-kindness, justice and righteousness, to act with compassion and kindness, acknowledging our common humanity and to consider the welfare of others; to fight for a fair go for everyone to fulfil their human potential and to remove whatever unjust obstacles stand in their way, including diminishing their personal responsibility for their own wellbeing; and to do what is right, to respect the rule of law, the sanctity of human life and the moral integrity of marriage and the family. We must recognise an unchanging and absolute standard of what is good and what is evil. Desmond Tutu put it this way:
... we expect Christians ... to be those who stand up for the truth, to stand up for justice, to stand on the side of the poor and the hungry, the homeless and the naked, and when that happens, then Christians will be trustworthy believable witnesses.
These are my principles. My vision for Australia is for a nation that is strong, prosperous and generous: strong in our values and our freedoms, strong in our family and community life, strong in our sense of nationhood and in the institutions that protect and preserve our democracy; prosperous in our enterprise and the careful stewardship of our opportunities, our natural environment and our resources; and, above all, generous in spirit, to share our good fortune with others, both at home and overseas, out of compassion and a desire for justice.

Scott is officially Australia’s 30th PM. 30 is a significant number in the Bible.
Australia now has a first (I think) Pentecostal PM and a Jew as the Deputy Leader and Treasurer.
Both Scott and Josh are the next generation of leaders... praying God will use them and give them wisdom to bring reconciliation and unity back to the government, and steer the country with a fresh vision and bring righteousness and the kingdom of God back to the Government Gate...

Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, the Government has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early, mandatory retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.
This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).
Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to the Government to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).
Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).
A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as the Government deems appropriate.
Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).
Obviously, persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED
any further by the Government.
Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. The Government has always
prided itself on the amount of SHIT it gives its citizens.
Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your MP, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle.
Sincerely,
The Committee for Economic Value of Individual Lives ( E.V.I.L)
PS - Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, the Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.

buying a well

Buying a well

A Chinese bought a well from an Englishman.

The next day while on his way to market he met the Englishman who told him:
"Brother, I have sold the well to you but I have not sold the water, if you use the water you will have to pay for it."

The Chinese replied:
"Ah, yes. I was planning to go to your place and ask you to empty the water and if you don't do it then you will have to pay the rent for the water in my well."

Don't try to play play with a Chinese!

ants - tenants

🐜An ant knocked on the door of a house.
The house owner opened the door.
"I want a place to stay," said the ant.
"I have a vacant room which you can occupy for free of cost," said the owner.
The ant went inside and occupied the vacant room.
After some days, the ant brought in another ant 🐜and requested the
owner, "Can you please allow this ant to stay with me?"
"Oh sure, you can do so without paying any rent," said the owner.
After some days the ant brought a 3rd 🐜ant and requested the owner
to allow it to stay with them.
The owner agreed to it without asking for any rent.
This went on as the 🐜ant brought in more and more ants and the owner agreed to let them stay without any rent.
One fine day, the ant brought in the  10th ant 🐜and requested the owner
to allow it to stay with them all.
The owner said,
"OK, you can all stay here but now you all need to pay rent."
Now the question is:
Why did the owner ask for rent when the 10th ant came in?
.
.
.🤔
Because they were now tenants!

ugly side of judo

108 school judo class deaths but no charges, only silence

Fatalities since '83 highest rate in any sport; brain injuries abound

BY MIKE BURKE
Yasuhiko Kobayashi’s 15-year-old son had skipped judo practice.
According to Kobayashi, the boy’s teacher was furious and stood waiting for him at the gates of his junior high school in Yokohama. The teacher forced the boy into the gym and made him grapple one on one. The former All Japan judo champion choked the boy until he lost consciousness.

When the boy came to, the teacher choked him again until he went limp, and threw him to the floor with such force that he suffered severe internal bleeding in his brain, an injury known as an acute subdural hematoma.
The injury incurred on Dec. 24, 2004, left Kobayashi’s son unable to remember anything for almost two years, while the teacher was later transferred to another junior high school in the city in accordance with standard job transfers among public school teachers.
The incident alleged by Kobayashi’s parents is one of a spate of similar deaths and injuries in school judo classes in recent years reminiscent of the beating death of young sumo wrestler Takashi Saito during a disciplinary “training” session in 2007.
The parents of Koji Murakawa, a 12-year-old junior high school student in Shiga Prefecture, allege their son died from a similar injury in July 2009.
Murakawa complained to his instructor he had asthma. He was told to wear an antidust mask and made to spar with the instructor. The teacher reportedly violently threw him to the ground, also leaving the boy with a subdural hematoma.
Taken to a hospital, Murakawa was later pronounced brain dead. His body was covered with bruises, according to his parents.
“Subdural hematomas occur when the connection between the brain and the skull loosens and stretches the bridging vein,” explained Dr. Masato Noji of the neurosurgery department at Ashigarakami Prefectural Hospital in Kanagawa Prefecture.
“The result is severe internal bleeding within the brain. Such injuries are extremely traumatic and usually fatal. As a ringside boxing doctor, I was extremely surprised to learn that these sorts of injuries come from judo practice in schools.”
Dr. Ryo Uchida of Aichi University of Education is concerned about the frequency of deaths in school judo classes.
“Over the 27-year period between 1983 and 2009, 108 students aged 12 to 17 died as a result of judo accidents in Japanese schools, an average of four a year,” Uchida said. “This is more than five times higher than in any other sport. About 65 percent of these fatalities came from brain injuries. This is clear evidence of a dangerous trend in Japanese schools.”
The statistics are doubly alarming because they have no parallel in other developed nations.
A representative from the British Judo Association said, “to our knowledge, there have been no deaths or serious brain injuries in judo in the BJA.”
Dr. Robert Nishime, chairman of USA Judo’s Sports Medicine Committee, points to a dearth of safety procedures for judo classes at Japanese schools.
“There have been no known traumatic brain injury deaths attributed to judo for all participants under the age of 18,” Nishime said. “So there appears to be a significant difference in serious brain injury rates in the youth between the U.S. and Japan.”
Kobayashi, the father of the 15-year-old Yokohama boy, complained that the parents of children killed or severely injured in judo practice have been met by a wall of silence when pressing for convictions of the alleged perpetrators.
The police sought charges against his son’s teacher, but prosecutors dismissed the case. A judicial inquest panel concluded the dismissal was unreasonable, but prosecutors threw the case out for a second time.
“Not a single incident has resulted in criminal prosecution,” Kobayashi said.
In another incident, the parents of Ryo Tozawa, a first-year student at a high school in Akita Prefecture, allege his judo coach asphyxiated him in 2003 despite the boy’s pleas to stop. Prosecutors twice declined to follow up on the boy’s death after police pressed for charges.
Kobayashi and Murakami’s families founded the Japan Judo Accident Victims Association on March 27 to support victims and their families, and to lobby for improved training safety. They will hold a symposium in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, on Sept. 12 to tie in with the World Judo Championships being held in Tokyo from Sept. 9 to 13.
One concern of the association is that new national curriculum reforms, known as Ikiru Chikara (The Zest for Living), will require all junior high school students to practice sumo, judo or kendo starting with the 2012 school year.
A 2009 All Japan Judo Federation study found that about 70 percent of junior high schools in Tokyo and Ibaraki Prefecture plan to make judo compulsory in 2012.
This concerns Uchida, who said he is unaware of any recent safety improvements and believes instructors have little regard for safety.
“As of 2012, it’s difficult to anticipate to what extent mortality levels will rise,” Uchida said.
However, because girls will also take part, the number of students participating in judo classes will roughly double.
“Consequently, without safety improvements, we can expect the mortality and serious injury rate to double accordingly,” he said.
While the All Japan Judo Federation remains silent on the issue, the head of the instruction department at judo’s spiritual home, the Kodakan Judo Institute in Tokyo, has been unable to hide his concerns.
Writing in the August issue of Budo magazine, Mikihiro Mukai argues: “Until now, the judo world has tried to hide things they perceive will be disadvantageous to them. But this trend will worsen the situation, even if we have many discussions about instruction methods, if there is even a single case of death or severe injury, that method is inadequate.
“There may well be some unfortunate accidents, but we as judo instructors must work to eradicate such problems,” he wrote.
The Japan Judo Accident Victims Association has launched a
